In Person - Registration will be accepted at the office between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

By Phone - Waiting list only until registration is paid. Call 667-6499.

By Mail - Registration may be made by mail using the form in our flyer and must be accompanied by the proper fees will be placed on a waiting list until the fee is paid.

From downtown Ellsworth, travel north (toward Bangor) on Rte 1-A. Boggy Brook Road is located just past the oil storage tanks on your right (both the tanks and Boggy Brook Road are to your right). Hancock County Tech Center is located approximately 1/2 mile up Boggy Brook Road, past the Demeyer softball fields and the Hancock County Extension Office. The school is located on the left side of the road. Please use the upper driveway.

Some courses require the purchase of books. Payment is expected when books are received.

If the Ellsworth School Department cancels day school, all Ellsworth Adult Education classes will be canceled as well. We will always announce our cancellations after 2:30 p.m. on the following stations: WWMJ 95.7 FM, WDEA 1370 AM, WKSQ (KISS) 94.5 FM, WEZQ 92.9 FM and WNSX 97.7 FM.

Any adult taking a course for high school credit is free. Ellsworth Adult Education operates a variety of programs, supported by federal, state, and local taxes. Your fees pay the cost not covered by the tax dollars. Some programs are self-supporting and may require a higher fee as well as a minimum enrollment. Some courses have lab fees. These fees pay for material used by students, maintenance and replacement of machinery and equipment.

We reserve the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment.
